DESCRIPTION

During our 5 days yoga retreat we will explore our inner worlds through the practice of Hatha and restorative yoga, using several yoga principles to reset our body and mind from the stressful daily routine. These vitalizing and restorative practices coupled with different types of meditation and pranayama sessions, all according to the themes prepared for each day, will result in greater well-being, simplicity and equilibrium in life. The intention is to establish yourself and your attitude towards life in the principles of yoga even after the retreat is completed.

The result will be a strong and healthy body, loving heart, calm mind, peaceful soul and bright smile on your face!

This retreat offers the opportunity to practice yoga in-depth with an experienced and inspirational teacher who will share her passion for yoga and personal growth. The focus of the program is to integrate oneself as a person but also to delve deeply into all aspects of a fully rounded yoga practice. This means we’ll be following well-structured sessions created to educate and provide experience in all aspects of practice from meditation, pranayama and asana to exploring our deeper sense of self and identity.

THE TEACHER

Vicky lives with her husband and 3 kids in Athens, Greece where she is teaching daily, running a busy life being a mother to 3 (:. 

She is a dedicated advanced yoga practitioner, as well as an Ayurvedic Therapist.
She mentors teachers, runs long-term apprentice programs and gives workshops, trainings and retreats internationally. Vicky has studied extensively within the traditional lineage of Ashtanga Yoga, and continues to practice, research and explore this and other traditions. She is a devoted, long-term student of Paul Dallaghan in the lineage of Kaivalyadham. She returns to India each year to pursue her studies of Pranayama, Kriyas, Ayurveda, traditional scriptures and scientific research around yoga. Vicky teaches with careful adherence to the authentic teachings of Ashtanga Yoga and Pranayama whilst encouraging each individual to explore the beauty of the practice for themselves. With a genuine dedication to the growth and development of her students, her way of teaching integrates her profound knowledge of the breath and Pranic energy, subtle and physical anatomy, with yogic principles. She offers an including, warm and inspiring space open for personal exploration and transformation. Her deep love and years of dedication to all aspects of this practice shines through in her attentive, insightful and inspirational teaching.
