Located over an amphitheatric village in the north shore of Evia, as is the island's original name, Anandamaya is reachable by both a ferry and a bridge

By Bus: There is a daily bus at 6:45am (high season) and 8:45am (low season) directly to the village. The cost is €18 and it includes a fun ferry crossing

Light clothing and a sweater or jacket for early mornings and evenings
While on March and November bring some extra clothing layers
Legs, shoulders and upper arms need to be covered when visiting places of worship
Beachwear, flip-flops and sunscreen
